We talked about it last year, but at this point we've come to expect (and look forward) to Hiromu Kobayashi's emails on behalf of Third Creek Sardine. Three years running, he hits us with their most recent project, and below every video link reads a Google Translated recap of the season and their goals from the past year. Their intention is always there, and the riding is ever-present to back it all up. Here's the latest footage, and sentiment, from one of our favorite up-and-coming Japanese crews.
"The charm of street snowboarding exists as many as the number of riders, filters, and creators, and they have been expressed as numerous video works from the early days, showing guidance for the new generation.
It is highly unlikely that this culture will ever degenerate, but in order to expand the possibilities for expression, it is important that those who watch the video interpret the message of the creators, and this will exist in as many ways as there are viewers.
We've packed this year's video with two of the most appealing aspects of street snowboarding video: 'being able to express yourself freely' and 'being able to share various emotions with friends.'
We hope that people who watch it will discover new possibilities for expression."
