It's almost been a year since Heavy Metal arrived in Detroit, Michigan. Keenan Cawley and Matt Norris were there, the handy cam was out, and seemingly everything during that 48-hour window was documented. Of the happenings from that weekend, some of the most memorable went down at Hart Plaza, a section in the downtown center that isn't terribly new to snowboarding. There's probably a lot of clips to thank for that, but because of Cooper Vosburg, Brent Behm, Derek Lemke, Chase Blakely, and a few other MIchiganders, it's been on our radar the past few years. Still, their clips from Hart Plaza in NO PRESSURE are just a small selection of Michigan spots they've put on the map.
This year they dug even deeper, finding new spots when new snow allowed. BREAKING FREE offers a lot more footage, and a lot more spots past Hart Plaza, to help us understand what keeps all of them rooted at home. With that in mind, watch their newest offering, and reminder yourself why you all voted NO PRESSURE as Regional Video of the Year in last years Snow Globe Awards. Seems like this year will share a similar reception.
