Maybe a Chipotle, maybe a Cava or Sweetgreens. Another week, let's get into it.

Torment Weather Report: The Alpe du Grand Serre ski station, a resort in France’s southeastern Isère region, has been forced to shut down operations after its local council voted to halt fundraising. This decision follows many consecutive years of declining snowfall.

"On Saturday, 47 members of Matheysine council, which includes the resort, voted to discontinue a contract with ski lift operator SATA Group. Only 12 members voted to keep operations running, according to numbers obtained from the council by CNN."

Another resort sees the sunset—this time in Tahoe, CA. This plague strikes across the world, showcasing that climate change knows no bounds, you fucks.

"Skiers will not be able to visit one popular resort near Lake Tahoe this season. The resort said its financial backer has withdrawn support for the 2024-25 season due to issues stemming from renovation plans."

Last Thursday was a big day for the Arbor Snowboarding program, as three familiar faces got added to the roster. There was speculation after Jared and Red both announced departures from their respective sponsors (Nitro and Burton), but we can't lie about the U.S. Snowboard Team's halfpipe coach feeling a bit outta left field.

Not the only surprise from Arbor last week, also leaving their welcome video here.

Only felt right to throw out an ode to Mike Liddle last week. The Midwest's best kept secret is now on the market, and his resume spans over a decades worth of mind melting footage with the Impaler Mag and Arbor Snowboards.

All those clips with the Impaler Mag can be found here. If you're a brand manager, might be worth revisiting.

Custom LeBlanc x RIDE glass to match his recent pro model binding. RIDE celebrates one of its most tenured relationships with a familiar graphic on a familiar binding. Released exclusively in 34 snowboard shops across the country.

Some people forget.

Few people frequent powderbuoy.com as much as Griffin Siebert—especially during a winter as fruitful as last year. The Wasatch provided all season long, and Griffin took full advantage of every forecast. From Brighton to the backcountry, he met up with friends for 10-minutes of hometown boarding.

Probably best to bookmark the Buoy Dashboard this winter.

No secret that most industries take inspiration from skateboarding, but we were a bit surprised to see some of the bigger ski brands taking inspiration from snowboarding. Lo and behold, Line Skis released a cheetah print board today.

Attaching their snowboard campaign here.
