They stick to anything, even Nik Baden's hoodie. Another week, let's get into it.

Torment Weather Report: The Sahara Desert is one of the driest places in the world, but a recent influx of rain is changing that—and the color of the satellite imagery. Plant life is flourishing in parts of the "typically arid southern Sahara" after storms moved there when they shouldn’t have.

These zones in the southern Sahara are 2x-6x as wet as they should be, much in part to "an increase in stormy weather that erupts when moist, tropical air from near the equator meets hot, dry air from the northern portion of the continent."

A new one from Pay The Rent and Freedawgers Only. Some of (y)our favorite west coasters teamed up for KEVIN DURANT, dropping this fall. Ryan Pluche, Benny Kaufman, Max Warbington, Keenan Cawley, Keegan Hosefros, Blake Lamb, Justus Hines, Brian Pracht, Mike Gray, and friends...

In the meantime...

Len Roald Jørgensen graces the cover of "fortune.", the latest Rome project from Max Lyons. Coming sometime in October, he's offering an in-depth look into the travels of the Rome AM team as they filmed for a new street project last season.

5.5” x 8.5”, 106 pages, and featuring the boarding of Noah Coville, Nate Haust, Keegan Hosefros, Len Jørgensen, Martin Laesser, Joey Leon, Maggie Leon, Stale Sandbech, and Casey Savage.

Jake Aaronson has been making DIY, self-filmed projects for some time now, and last year we caught up with him about EAST BUMM FUCC. An insane projects to say the least, and he just released some BTS footage from one of the gnarliest spots in that video.

"While I was hitting it, the guys working in the building were knocking on the windows, trying to hype me up. I did a few front boards, with the trick being to stay on the inside of the rail, which was a bit scary at first. However, I ended up getting more comfortable, and I knew I could pull the pretzel if everything aligned right. It felt like a pretty long battle, and I hit the spot over 50 times before getting it."

Red Gerard's been on Burton since burritos were bigger than his face. That's a long time. A time that spans over a decade and too many gold medals to count. Most think that once you join the Burton family, you don't leave (and most don't), but Red took to Instagram a couple days ago to announce his departure from the legacy brand. His pivot will all make sense in a due time...knock on wood.

"Ever since I was 9 years old, I have so many core unforgettable memories that will forever be held deep in my heart. The people that I was surrounded by at Burton have helped shape the person I am today, and I am so grateful for every moment and all the friendships that were made along our journey together." A heartfelt goodbye that reminded us of something completely random.

Last Wednesday marked the 200th episode of the Bomb Hole, so it only made sense to banter with the orginal co-host for this milestone. Chris Grenier spent four years asking the questions, but now he spends 4 hours responding to them. Legendary episode with two legendary co-hosts, Java Fernández and Joe Sexton.

Over 20 chapters that dive into Chris' life, but one of our favorites was hearing about filming video parts with Joe Carlino. Wonder no more...his favorite video part he's ever filmed is Snowboarder Mag's pepper.

Not a bad purchase if you have $14.5k lying around. One of Burton's some memorable snowboard series, and scrumdown8 has them all. Never ridden, never mounted with bindings, and with original tags.

"These were the controversial board made by Burton for 1 year until the mother’s protested and Burton caved in to capitalism. All of the models were actual 70’s Playboy models. You can still find matching bindings as well as the Playboy specific magazines with these lovely ladies inside."
