The Fall '23 sticker pack made its way to Philadelphia. In roughly two months, the Fall '24 pack will too. Until then, let's get into it.

Torment Weather Report: The Swiss Alps just got hit with a mid-September storm last week. Flakes were falling at low altitudes (a shocking 700m), but an unprecedented 2m were expected to fall at altitude by the beginning of this week. The news photos are pretty insane, but we're more hyped with Ferdinand Winter's aesmo take on it all.

“Although occasional (mostly) high-altitude snowfalls are nothing unusual in September, this degree of storm is not something we have seen this early for many years and it will probably end up dumping record snowfalls (for the time of year) across some parts of Austria,” said Fraser Wilkin from weathertoski.co.uk.

Decided to revive the original internet breaker last week. Ethan Deiss' breakout part from Think Positive (2009) took the snowboard world by storm, and when every brand was calling with contracts, Ethan was in his parents' basement smoking weed and playing FIFA. Can't blame a 17 year old for that.

After we posted the part, Jeffy Gabrick hit us with the POV we needed to hear. He was working at the shop Ethan rode for at the time and painted the picture all too well. 120 missed calls.

Apparently skateboarding reigns supreme. No pun intended, but Converse just released a team video titled Evergreen. Do they watch snowboarding? Do they even care? Probably a little bit of lack thereof on both fronts, but we couldn't help and think about the above project first.

There's a reason it shows up in Savanah Shinske's Top 5 Most Influential Parts of All-Time more than once.

"Of course she somehow makes it to the end of this 60 foot ledge that next go. We all collapse to the snow scream-crying in complete disbelief. The whole thing came out of nowhere and Bryden was hardly ready to film it. The sun was almost down so we decided to come back the next day so she could try again. We arrived in the morning only to find 10 feet of snow plowed over the entire ledge. A complete burial. Emma decided to keep that first land and her two-plus years of free supper."

Jake Kuzyk recounted one of the most memorable trips for dorothy in Issue SIX, which is now live on the site. Leaving the full project here for added context.
