Of the 8.1 billion people on this planet, 3.1 million of them seem to roam the streets of Calgary and Montreal. Seems like a pretty small sliver compared to the grand total, but in the context of snowboard spots, that's objectively too many people. Architecture doesn't grow at the same exponential rate that snowboarders do, and for that, certain cities can become played out.

Any metropolitan will share the same inconvenience, but these two Canadian cities are particularly bad. Both have hosted generations of street snowboarding, leaving little untouched. ABD is probably the first thought that came to mind for Quin Ellul, Jesse Jarret, and the rest of the Paid Programming crew when they spent the majority of their winter on their home turf, and that's exactly why their video looks bigger, riskier, and, generally speaking, gnarlier than anything they've put out to date.

The snow was there, the stars aligned, and Paid Programming stepped up to the plate to offer a refreshingly big take on two cities we've grown to know and love.
