It's been half a decade since L1 has gone on a trip. That 2 week mission back in 2017 started in Helsinki, Finland and ended in Tallin, Estonia by ferry over the Baltic Sea. What came of Joe Sexton, Sam Taxwood, Justin Keniston, Simon Gschaider, and Dominik Wagner overseas was NOVY YORK, a memorable team video that lended us the cover of issue ONE. Odds are you don't remember that photo, even less odds you have the physical copy, but we're glad that Joe Sexton's ender is immortalized on some of your bookshelves.
Now there should be are 6 Torment iterations on your bookshelf, but there's still something particularly special about that blue boardslide. What's even more special is the fact that Joe, and most of the other names associated with that video, are still in the mix. To compliment Dominik, Jeremy, Joe, and Simon's tenured clips in Idaho and Montana, a bunch of L1's younger additions also hopped in the van. That level of multigenerational boarding is not something you see everyday.
Here's to another chapter in L1's history.
