It's hard to not recognize Minnesota as a breeding ground for street snowboarding. There's too many up-and-comers to name, and that right there is a testament to the talent coming out of Buck Hill, Elm Creek, Hyland Hills, and Wild year over year.
It makes sense, too. Those aforementioned hills allow for 100 rope tow laps a day. And, when compared to the 15-minute chairlift ride, this level of repetition makes it a no-brainer. The latest example of this is DAYS SPENT LOST, an all-female video from the streets of MN. Their first season outside of the resort definitely puts them on the radar, with (presumably) many years on the ropes to thank for that.
