Not many snowboarders have gone the Patreon route, but one DIYer in particular has managed to carve a lane through memberships. Jake Aaronson (the man behind Bummfuccs) has come to be known for his self-filmed projects that are secured behind a paywall, and chances are you've already opted to fucc around and find out for $2/month. But, if you haven't, today is your lucky day.
We noticed a cryptic hyperlink on @jibbingisnotdead's Instagram story last night, and after just one click we landed on Jake's latest DIY backcountry project from last winter. A nice change of pace that builds off of last year's East Coast street video. This time around he ventured to Tahoe, CA, sleeping in a Safeway parking lot from January - April '24 to find the goods. We don't know how long this link will be active, but throwing the leak up for your enjoyment.
Starring: Jake Aaronson
Directed, Filmed, and Edited by: Jake Aaronson
*Here at Torment, we always recommend going into the backcountry with an experienced group and proper equipment. It's a daunting task to be out there alone, and that risk outweighs the reward for most. Even so, Jake Aaronson isn't like most—he loves snowboarding more than most, and is willing to film yet another solo project showcasing just that.
