You may have noticed a pseudo series of sorts popping up on our Instagram. "Behind The Trick" is the result of our ever-present curiosity surrounding some of our favorite riders and video parts from the season—and after checking in with Parker Szumowski, Desiree Melancon, Pat Fava, and Riley Nickerson over the past few months, we decided to head West to the streets of SoCal for Pay the Rent's latest project.
Can't talk about Southern California without bringing up Big Bear. Arguably the most influential zone in the 213, and in the middle of it all lies an iconic high school with a lengthy history of clips to compliment. Everyone from Bradshaw and Magoon to most of the PTR squad. In their latest flick, Kevin Durant, the SoCal native Ryan Pluche pulled a NBD in under 5 tries. Pretty unheard of, so we had to hear it from the man himself.
