Blake Paul’s riding is unmistakable. He almost floats. Everything he does looks stupid easy, though nine out of 10 snowboarders would get permanently damaged trying the same stuff. Despite the apparent ease seen in the final product, Blake is calculated and puts in work. Take for example the process of developing his new pro model with RIDE. Blake rode and helped guide the engineering of nearly 50 prototypes before arriving at the final design.
The result is unusual in modern snowboarding: a reverse camber dominant board at a time when camber dominant profiles reign. To be clear, Blake tried to ride cambered boards when he joined RIDE but ultimately pushed the brand to build the exact board he wanted.
