Every wooden fence is just one bad day away from being firewood.
Torment Weather Report: Holy Shit. And now, The News.
It’s a veritable firehose of snow-related content out there, so we’re gonna get right into it. Atlas 2 is online, and as expected, it’s amazing. We got a feature up elsewhere on the site so we’ll skip the embed on this one. The same goes for Buster 2, in all it's gangster rap glory.
The Lobster/YES/NOW/weird-hashtag-logo movie is up. It was honestly funny, self-deprecating, and impressive in equal measures. It may not be for everyone, but denying the talent and creativity on display would be disingenuous. The mid-movie three minute slideshow was hilarious as well. Seems like they still exist post Nidecker buyout/sell-off, so that’s good?
Looks like Curtis is ready to get back in the streets.. What you think he's got on this? Hit our new comment section below and anonymously let people know.
DANG Shades came out with a fun homie edit. It’s always good to see new Beresford and Stevens footy.
Capita’s Float is up, satisfying our need for more Longo footy. Miles Fallon went in, and Cocard’s maneuvers are easy on the eyes, as always. Highlights include a laid out backflip over Pyramid Gap and the whole team’s impressive pillow prowess.
On the more artsy side of things we’ve got Salomon’s VANTAGE. Tune in for that opening follow-cam, and stay tuned for Blake Moller’s natural hit wizardry (natty take off switch back 7, has that been done, and if so, was it this good?).
Let's take a breather from the video onslaught and ponder the future of snowboard journalism for a moment. Do writers in snowboarding utilize ChatGPT in place of original thought? Is that ethical? Does it even matter? Anyways..
Jacob Krugmire got the cover of Issue EIGHT at our SLC Premiere Party and it was a touching moment having his whole family there to witness it. If you saw Krugs crying, no you didn't.
More premiere news, Keenan Cawley not only had a money shower with Ben Bilodeau, but he also recapped the whole event, in a way only he could. Thanks Keenan.
Korua Shapes’ 12th(!!) iteration of their YEARNING FOR TURNING series came at us with an approachable dispatch from down under. These are always a nice change of pace, as we are sure everyone is getting excited to turn their snowboards this coming season.
Regarding approachability; the algorithm gave us this little gem. The riding is average to slightly above, and sometimes below, but the energy is all time. Damn this looks fun.
Wow, in need of a brain floss after that one. If you can believe it, this isn’t even everything that dropped this week. Stare at this shit for an hour or something, tell your boss you’re re-calibrating:
Here’s your Instagram Clip of the Week: Young Knees Stomp Hard
And for the first time, your Instagram Photo of the Week: Decent sized ledge we guess…
