Another week has passed, and here we are writing another Torment Tuesday News. It seems like every week is a gamble—the residuals of our ever-developing snowboard community never disappoint. There's a lot to bet on over the past seven days. The odds that Spencer Schubert's ender in Good Sport will go down as Trick of the Year are high, and there's an equal probability that all the Dust Box collab merch will sell out the minute it's released. Enough speculation though, let's get into it.
The Midwest seems to pump out content on a daily basis. This week is no different, and today the Internet received Cooper Vosburg's most recent offerings—Derek Lemke's full part and PK Radio #1. By the looks of the latter's title, we should be expecting many more sessions from Pike Knob Park.
Albeit the lack of snowfall in the Midwest, Hyland Hills has managed to offer a new set up. The infamous pencil rail returns to the rope tow, along with a few other features. This hype will continue into the weekend, when the first competition of the season will go down.
In what is a common sequence of events for most seasoned competition riders, Spencer O'Brien "leaves the bib behind and ventures into the backcountry" to film her first full part. The title is a fitting reference to her snowboard career.
Learn more about Spencer's journey in the Telus Originals documentary 'Precious Leader Woman' directed by Cassie De Colling and produced by Kiddo Films.
