The annual Pat Moore x Baldface Lodge risk maturity course went down last week. The minds of Nils Midnich, Robin Van Gyn, Kelsey Boyer, Griffin Siebert, Sage Kotsenberg, Hannah Beamen, among many others, spent the week tackling the ever developing reality of risk tolerance. The backcountry is as precarious as the avalanches that threaten it, so it's comforting to see some of the best bettering their snow safety knowledge.

After Dustbox's Dreamcastle, it's clear Denver should be the topic of conversation for street spots this upcoming winter. We were confident every crew would be booking flights to the Mile High City after the first inch hit the ground, but things are looking grim. Denver's yet to see any snowfall this winter, making it 247 consecutive days without our favorite kind of precipitation. It is the longest snowless stretch in recorded history. This unusual December weather bums us out, but to add insult to injury, there are Hawaii blizzard warnings right now.
