Benny Milam is someone that perfectly embodies that WTF factor in snowboarding. Few riders have it (Mike Liddle or Zeb Powell are good references), but when they do, there tends to be a tenured trail of heavy tricks and accolades that sets the precedent for future generations. In the case of this MN local, all of the above rings true, as a simple Benny Milam google search will offer a slew of NBD's that most rope tow locals can only aspire to check off the bucket list.
Luckily, a lot of these earlier tricks are documented on Benny's mom's YouTube channel, which, up until know, served only as a cryptic media vault for some 371 subscribers. Maybe we're blowing up his spot, but there's over a decade of footage that dates all the way back to his 2009 Nationals run. Cool to see another addition to the channel after a 7-year hiatus.
Subscribe and enjoy the documented progression.
