Sometimes it's hard for us to put our finger on what makes a video special. No two videos are the same, even in the most subtle ways. But once a year, we can always count on WOP, and their newest offering puts us in a cathartic space—even for just 7 minutes. This footage came at us unsuspectedly, without any warning, but we've come to expect this level of riding when Jussi, Sami, and a few other familiar faces are in the mix.
So we watched, then watched again, and got to thinking: what is it about Tobbe’s movies that get everyone in Torment office screaming? Is it the spots? The low Finnish sun? Or is it the unsung heroes of scandinavian snowboarding coming through big time? We’re guessing it's all the above.
Another year, another WOP movie on repeat.
