I love trains. The pace and the people. There's a unique spirit. The journey is long but steady. Sometimes I try to read... but the moving picture that exists outside the window pulls me back again and again. One cant help but think and dream. There are travelers of all sorts... A seemingly homeless man that knows more than I can imagine. And one can only listen to rambles in awe. The train never sleeps. It's possible to maybe doze off for a little... The tracks are oddly tranquilizing at night... Sort of pulling you into sleep but only until the sound of shrieking metal below or a sturdy blow of the train's horn howls into the night... dreams...
The sun rises and a river flows to the left. Golden mountainous range. A hot cup of coffee and one has arrived in Truckee."
