You know what they say… half of business gets done in the boardroom, the other half at the bar. Add bathroom stalls, baggage claim, and the occasional back alley to the list, because snowboarding’s business pipeline is nothing if not honest. Napkin contracts, beer-induced pitches, and now capsule collections born the same way. Somewhere in that mix, Nomadik and Wasted Talent stumbled into a pretty sick 4+ piece collection at a bar in Tokyo.
We like to imagine them posted up at Hobgoblin Pub on a cold winter night, one beer away from calling it, when the collab surfaced. Eighteen months later, one of Japan’s heaviest crews has a shop, a product line, a few light crimes, and a movie with Wasted Talent to show for it.
