Jordan Bell has been putting together a part for the love of the game, all while juggling law school and ultimately, a career as a lawyer. It doesn't get much more real than that. Technical skills, an ambidextrous nature, and spot selections that require the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater balance cheat code make up his new section. Here's what he had to say about it in his own words. This vid represents a couple years of cobbling together clips on weekends and after work and whatnot. I worked pretty hard on it at certain points, and didn’t work on it at all at other points when lawyering & other life demands monopolized my time. I made it cause I’ve been filming parts since I was a kid, so my snowboard-rat brain is pretty firmly conditioned to hammer on the sugar-water pedal that is the clip high. I don't know that it means much more than that.
I guess I’d add that I hate how snowboard culture is increasingly being flattened into a commodity, and this is meant to be a small counterpoint to that kind of logic. I’ll leave it at that, cheers.
