It’s been a huge year for Jacob Krugmire, bouncing back from a knee injury, getting a feature interview and the cover of Issue EIGHT, and spearheading his own video project with Ride Snowboards. I could write some shit I’ve already said multiple times, or you could go read his interview and you’ll more than likely get all the answers you’re wondering about Krugs and his new video project. But, as a formality, I will break down a little bit more about this video for those of you that are too cheap/broke/uninterested to buy a magazine and support independent snowboarding.
Filmed over the last year, Jacob, Jed Anderson, Ryoki Ogawa, and Cole Navin made up the primary squad for It’s a Mess, with Ezra Racine and Spencer Schubert making guest appearances, culminating in a Ride street project that is centered around Jacob. In classic Krugs fashion, he ate shit, laughed it off, and handled some serious spots. Without a doubt, this is some of the best footage we’ve seen from him. From Bosnia to Japan, to Albany, Parrish Isaacs documented all the tricks and in-betweens, and what a way to welcome Krugs back to the board. We’ll be watching this one more than once for sure.
