Without you, dear reader, we are nothing. Well, maybe a little something, but nowhere near the magazine, community, supportive friend, hype man, or whatever it is you want to call us on this crispy November morning.

All that to say, putting out our yearly call for submissions is one our favorite parts of the year—and this year was no exception. Below, you’ll find a smattering of submissions from Torment readers all over the globe that highlight just how incredible this little messed up/talented/beautifully-chaotic community we’ve built is. Just to give you an inkling, the featured image hails all the way from Patrick Quesnel’s  Fujifilm XT3 on Lake Superior, while the image above is by Finnian Brooke, a cartoonist and printmaker from Cincinnati, OH. But it doesn't stop there, far from it. We even tapped reader Liana Shinbein to do the layout. Look out for her photo in the mag, as well as her work with Jollybones Magazine.

As always, thanks for reading, submitting, critiquing, guffawing, sending, and bailing. Photography is at the heart of what we do here, so to see the community show up with their artistic submissions is always important and full circle for us.
