While at the Dustbox premiere in Brooklyn, NY this past weekend, we noticed an all-too familiar logo in the credits of the crew's latest project. Herschel Supply was alongside Skullcandy, 686, Howl, and few other of snowboarding's most recognizable brands—and we thought that could only mean one of two things: the global lifestyle brand really, really likes the Dustbox or they planned on pushing the boundaries of design with Herschel Outdoor Equipment™.
Turns out both were true, and after seeing Arthur Longo as the other face of their campaign, it looks like Herschel Supply's new performance-based line of alpine-inspired bags and apparel is hitting the ground running. He's the lone snowboarder in the Herschel family at the moment, with new faces joining soon enough. Only time will tell to see who else embodies the brand’s “travel everywhere, travel often” mindset...
The brand launches with two distinct product ranges: All Season and Ultralight (as well as a outdoor clothing line). The All Season range is made up of ten styles designed for year-round exploration and travel. This collection includes totes, backpacks, duffles, hybrid roller bags and snow roller bags in various sizes. Dedicated to enhancing outdoor adventures with the right gear, Herschel Supply designed the All Season duffles and roller bags with a modular system that seamlessly connects for travel.
A Closer Look At The All Season Range
Each bag is made from custom All Season fabric — a durable double-ripstop that is water-repellent, windproof and crafted from 100% recycled polyester. Our hybrid roller bags combine this fabric with our hardshell, constructed from 70% recycled polycarbonate.
The All Season bags are built with durable elements like a tear-resistant base to withstand rough surfaces in any weather, and slip-resistant pull tabs for a secure grip when opening and closing. The All Season backpacks include safety features like a removable sternum strap with a rescue whistle, a removable waist strap with tabs for extra equipment and an internal tool organization system for avalanche safety gear. The hybrid and snow roller bags are designed for enhanced packing and durability.
The hybrid roller bags come in two sizes: a large version and a large carry-on. They feature a split design and an aluminum foot that doubles as an additional carry handle. The snow rollers come in three sizes to fit snow equipment of varying dimensions. They include a water-resistant tarpaulin liner that locks out moisture and adds abrasion resistance, along with back rails that help prevent tears and scratches. Both roller bag styles come with two all-terrain wheels for smooth travel on rough surfaces. Additionally, the All Season Duffle can be worn as a backpack with removable shoulder straps for convenient carrying during outdoor trips.
A Closer Look At The Ultralight Range
The Ultralight range is designed for minimalistic travel and light outdoor use. This collection includes a cinch daypack, a backpack and a hip pack, all made from lightweight ripstop fabric coated in polyurethane for enhanced durability. Both the daypack and backpack are equipped with essential safety features, including a sternum strap with a rescue whistle, a removable waist strap and a built-in hydration system. Additionally, all three styles are made with breathable air mesh back padding to ensure optimal airflow during activity.
