There’s been a trend in snowboarding in the last five-ish years, where filmmakers have strayed from the classic template of each snowboarder having their own video part in the full project. Many attribute it to late twenty-teens skate video crews like GX1000, Bronze, and Atlantic Drift, choosing to put out some of the best footage in skating without rider’s name credits, and more of a montage based full-length. Which were mainly focused on aesthetics and a group mentality over showcasing the individual.

While that’s all good, and those videos were incredible for their own reasons, sometimes you just want to know who the fuck is skating or snowboarding without having to go frame-by-frame to identify someone, usually to no avail. I mean fuck, in snowboarding half these people are wearing facemasks. How the hell am I supposed to put some respect on someone’s name if I don’t have a clue who they are?

The last few years Kyle Murray dropped “Uppercut” and “Whatchu Get” featuring a group of riders that aren’t necessarily unknown, but could benefit from people learning their god damn names. Plus, the footage kicks ass and I personally like to see someone’s efforts all in one place. I love Drayden Gardner’s snowboarding, and I really just wanted to see all of his shit back-to-back to get the full effect of what he accomplished in a single season. So with that said, here’s Drayden’s full remix part from last year.
