It's hard not to look back on the past 3 years without a (somewhat) sour taste in your mouth. Sure, you may have lost your flavor palette in spring of 2020, but unexpected lockdowns and an underlying sense of mask-induced panic is the real bummer we're getting after. Society is slowing recovering, and while we don't like to dwell on the negative here, it's important to recognize that some good came from the pandemic as well.

Optimistically speaking, lifts closed, people saved money on day-tickets, and, best of all, snowboarding saw a side of itself that is usually overshadowed by park laps. We're talking about the fact that most people resorted to backcountry laps or the streets, and Brin Alexander is a prefect example of someone who did both. Sure, we would've been pleasantly surprised to see some more Whistler footage, but times have changed, and 3 years worth of turns on a Dope Industries deck is a testament to the fact that some positivity is still lingering. Here's a post-pandemic analysis we can all get behind.
