In any industry, especially one as weather-dependent as snowboarding, it's more common to see change than consistency. Depending on how you woke up this morning, you could read that for better or worse, but the reality is that we've seen a particularly heightened shift in snowboarding's video landscape recently. Full-length feature films have been condensed into short-form videos, and while we have TikTok-primed attention spans (among other factors) to thank for that, there are a handful of brands and people still defying this new norm.
Among those few stands RIDE snowboards and Jed Anderson, two staples in the snowboard industry that just spent the past two seasons filming for a full-length branded video that stood out. Given that TikTok primed attention span we were talking about, that's a rarity, so we're glad to see RIDE keep that momentum with the release of a 16-minute timeline from Jed Anderson's ender part. He closed out the video with a 4-minute, jaw-dropping montage that justified every award it received, and at the end of the day it's the trials, tribulations, and torment of it all that made every clip worthwhile.
